UsFirst was founded at the beginning of the pandemic. Our initial mission was to provide resources to those in need and assist individuals in securing housing through our Housing Assistance program. As our organization grew, we broadened our focus to include food distribution for those experiencing food insecurity. We established pop-up locations at campsites in North Portland and Southeast Portland to ensure accessibility for our homeless community members. In addition to our resource distribution efforts, UsFirst has created signature community events that bring people together and inspire a deep sense of belonging, transcending cultural backgrounds.

At UsFirst, we take pride in our community-oriented approach. We build partnerships with local businesses, volunteers, and organizations to enhance our impact.
